The Art of
Letting GoMoving Forward
I thought I had to leave my past behind. Turns out, I’m just carrying it differently.
Heyy,
This is my first post as I step out of high school and into university life.
Throughout my school years, I was never in one place for too long. I moved across multiple cities, schools, and homes in India, constantly adapting to new cultures, environments, and people. It was exhausting at times, and often lonely. Making close bonds is hard when you keep starting over. Yet, looking back, I see it as a blessing in disguise.
In these 12 years, I’ve had the rare chance to explore so many places and meet so many people. What I once thought was my biggest challenge has turned out to be my greatest strength. Moving so often made it hard to settle, but it also taught me to bloom anywhere. These changes have made me reflective, self-aware, adaptable and thus more mature than most my age.
And no, I’m not ready to “let go” of anything. I’m carrying with me every laugh, tear, moment, experience, and lesson. From friends who made me laugh to strangers who taught me patience, I carry them all with me.
The key is not to get stuck in the past, but to let it enrich you as you move forward. I’m stepping into a new chapter with a bag full of memories, love, and lessons, ready to see what life rewards and awaits me.
Hope this inspires you
With love
